Description:
Teamforce Labour is currently looking for experienced Skilled Groundworkers for an immediate start in Haslington, Rossendale, BB4.
You will be working for one of the UK's leading Civil Engineering contractors on a Section 278 highways project, involving the removal of an existing roundabout, alterations to two junctions, and associated highway infrastructure works.
Requirements:
Previous experience as a Groundworker
Strong work ethic and ability to work as part of a team
Knowledge of drainage, kerbing, concreting, excavation, ducting, and other groundworks tasks
Valid Blue CSCS Skilled Worker Card – Groundworker NVQ Level 2 Diploma
Valid Street Works Operative Card (NRSWA)
CPCS/NPORS Forward Tipping Dumper and Ride-on Roller are beneficial
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out general groundworks duties including drainage, excavations, foundations, ducting, and reinstatement works
Assist with Section 278 highway works, including the removal and reconstruction of highway features such as roundabouts and junctions
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety standards
Collaborate with the site team to ensure the project is delivered safely and on programme
