Job Title: Sixth Form Teacher
Location: Lamledge School, Shifnal, Shropshire
Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum dependent on experience
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday, Wednesday 8.30am – 5.00pm & Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only

About the Role
We are looking for a Sixth Form Teacher to commence as soon as possible. You will help deliver a range of foundation qualifications as well as a nurturing and therapeutic environment to meet a range of needs including a range of social, emotional and mental health needs and also pupils who have been diagnosed with autism or demonstrate behaviours associated with autism.
Purpose of the Job
Drive the teaching and learning of different subjects across the school especially in the sixth form provision.
To further enhance and develop the curriculum to meet the needs of all students giving them the most relevant skills and knowledge to succeed.
To further enhance Key Stage 4 and 5 qualifications and have a strong passion in delivering different qualifications to successfully engage pupils with complex needs.
To secure high quality teaching, effective use of resources and improve standards of learning and achievement for all pupils in consultation with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team.
To teach a range of qualifications as necessary to ensure the effective delivery of the school’s curriculum.
In consultation with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team undertake other identified areas of responsibility as necessary to ensure effective delivery of the school’s curriculum.
Essential
Use of a variety of teaching styles and approaches
Experience of teaching and delivering different subjects
Experience or the knowledge to deliver KS4/KS5 qualifications
Attainment of GCSE (or equivalent), grade C in English and Maths
Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
