Principal Education is recruiting a dedicated and student-focused 6th Form SEND Deputy Head of Year to support the academic, pastoral and personal development of students within a thriving sixth form setting.
Responsibilities:
Provide pastoral support to sixth form students.
Support students with SEND to achieve their full potential.
Monitor attendance, behaviour and progress.
Work closely with teaching staff, families and external agencies.
Assist with transition, interventions and student wellbeing.
Requirements:
Experience working with secondary or post-16 students.
Strong understanding of SEND provision.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Experience in pastoral or student support roles desirable
