As a Ganger/Site Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing and coordinating on-site construction activities near Swaffham, Norfolk.
Managing a team of skilled tradespeople and labourers, providing guidance and support to optimize productivity and workmanship.
Utilising your Dumper operating skills to assist with site operations and material movement.
Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, promoting a safe working environment for all personnel.
Collaborating closely with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient project execution and client satisfaction.
Conducting regular site inspections to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective measures.
Maintaining accurate records, including daily reports, progress updates, and site documentation.
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
Proven experience as a Ganger/Site Supervisor in the construction industry.
A valid SSSTS (Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme) certification is essential.
Dumper operating skills are essential.
Roller operating skills are desirable.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage a diverse team.
Solid knowledge of construction processes, regulations, and best practices.
Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
