SSSTS Site Supervisor / Working Foreman
South Wales
£25–£26 per hour | Immediate Start | Long-Term Work
We're recruiting for an experienced SSSTS Site Supervisor / Working Foreman to join a long-term refurbishment programme across railway stations in South Wales.
With works already underway and a strong pipeline ahead, this is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for ongoing contract work or a temp-to-perm opportunity with a growing contractor.
The role will focus on the refurbishment and installation of toilet facilities at stations along the Cardiff to Merthyr route, including the conversion of existing rooms into new toilet facilities and the refurbishment of existing amenities.
The Role
* Running day-to-day activities on site
* Supervising trades and subcontractors
* Coordinating materials and deliveries
* Monitoring quality, health & safety and programme
* Managing works within live public environments
* Supporting site activities hands-on where required
* Completing general finishing and maintenance tasks including:
* Handrails
* Mirrors
* Skirting
* General snagging and finishing works
Specialist trades including plumbers, tilers and carpenters will carry out the main packages of work, so we're looking for someone who can confidently supervise the project whilst remaining willing to get involved on site when needed.
Requirements
* SSSTS or SMSTS
* CSCS Card
* Previous experience as a Site Supervisor, Working Foreman or General Foreman
* Refurbishment, fit-out or small works experience
* Good all-round construction knowledge
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Full UK Driving Licence preferred
