About the Role
We are looking for a highly capable, hands-on Site Supervisor to lead installations on high-security projects across the UK. This is a brilliant opportunity for a skilled supervisor from a welding, fabrication, or mechanical installation background to secure a lucrative, long-term contract with a rapidly growing company.
As this is a national contract, you will be travelling to different sites across the UK. You must be comfortable staying away from home during the week, with an accommodation allowance of circa £54.00 per night provided.
Key Responsibilities:
* Site Leadership: Oversee the safe and efficient on-site installation of security doors, high-security windows, and structural building security products.
* Hands-on Delivery: Lead by example by actively assisting the installation team on the tools when required.
* Health & Safety: Maintain strict H&S standards on-site, ensuring compliance with RAMS and site regulations as the designated SMSTS holder.
* Client Liaison: Act as the primary face of the company on-site, liaising with main contractors and project managers.
What We Are Looking For:
* Qualifications: Must hold a valid SMSTS certificate and a relevant CSCS card.
* CSCS Gold card in Site Supervision or similar.
* Technical Expertise: Proven background in welding and fabrication.
* Site Experience: Demonstrable experience supervising structural installations on busy commercial construction or engineering sites.
* Work Ethic: A "working supervisor" attitude—you must be willing to muck in on the tools alongside your team.
* Flexibility: Full UK driving licence and a total willingness to travel nationwide and stay away from home Monday to Friday.
