Description:
Peace Recruitment are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Supervisor to join our client’s team. You will be overseeing concrete repair projects with Scottish Water and SPEN (Scottish Power Energy Networks) across the north of Scotland and the central belt. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil engineering and concrete repairs, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering projects to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise construction activities on site, ensuring adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety regulations.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.
Oversee concrete repair works, including assessment of damage, selection of appropriate repair methods, and quality control.
Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Maintain accurate records of site activities, including daily reports, progress updates, and material quantities.
Provide leadership and guidance to site staff, ensuring that work is carried out efficiently and safely.
Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and effective communication among team members.
Requirements:
Previous experience working as a Site Supervisor in the construction industry, ideally on projects with Scottish Water and SPEN.
Strong knowledge of concrete repair techniques and materials.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with various stakeholders.
Relevant qualifications in construction management or a related field would be advantageous.
