Bulk Earthworks Supervisor – Aylesbury / HS2

We are looking for an experienced Bulk Earthworks Supervisor to join a major civil engineering project in the Aylesbury area, working on HS2.

This is a hands-on site-based role for a supervisor with a strong background in bulk earthworks and major civil engineering projects, capable of leading gangs, coordinating plant and resources, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme.

The ideal candidate will have:

Proven experience supervising bulk earthworks on major civils/infrastructure projects

*

Previous experience working on large-scale earthworks schemes

*

Strong knowledge of earthworks operations, levels, sequencing and plant coordination

*

Experience managing site teams and subcontractors

*

Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications

*

Strong commitment to health, safety and environmental standards

*

CPCS/NPORS Gold Card with SSSTS (or relevant supervisory qualification)

*

Valid CSCS/HS2 site requirements, as applicable

*

EUSR accreditation where required

*

Valid site medical

*

Full right to work in the UK

*

HS2 experience would be highly advantageous

The role:

*

Supervising bulk earthworks activities on a major infrastructure project

*

Managing operatives, plant and subcontractors

*

Coordinating daily works and ensuring productivity targets are achieved

*

Monitoring quality, safety and environmental compliance

*

Working closely with Site Managers and Engineers

*

Ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance with project requirements
