Summary
Zen Educate is recruiting a reliable Site Supervisor for a welcoming primary school in Preston. This is a temp-to-perm position—start via Zen Educate with the opportunity to transition onto a permanent contract directly with the school. This is a full-time, all-year-round role, offering excellent job security during school holidays.
Key Responsibilities

Security: Keyholder duties—unlocking the school at 6am and fully locking up at 6pm.

Maintenance: General DIY, minor plumbing, carpentry, painting, and basic repairs.
*
Safety: Conducting routine checks (fire alarms, water testing) and keeping grounds clear.
*
Operations: Overseeing the cleaning team and supervising external contractors.
Note: Holiday hours are typically worked on a more flexible, single-shift basis.
What We Are Looking For

Experience in caretaking, maintenance, facilities, or a trade is highly desirable.

Handy, proactive, and excellent at spotting what needs fixing or cleaning.

Punctual, dependable, and comfortable with early mornings and split shifts.

A friendly manner—you will be a key part of the school community.
