Description:
School ICT Resourcing is recruiting for a temporary Caretaker to cover 3 sites in LS26. Ideally, you will have previous experience as a Site Supervisor or Caretaker within the education sector and hold a valid Enhanced DBS.
The Site Supervisor/Caretaker plays a key role at the school. You will be working closely with the Estate Manager to manage the security of the building and to take a pro-active role in the maintenance and management of the school.
The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm. The schedule is as follows:
* Monday and Tuesday: Site 1
* Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday: Site 2
* Every second week, you will spend one of the five days at Site 3
Please note that there is no expectation to move between sites during the day. All sites are within a 5 mile radius of each other. Additionally, this role has the potential to become a permanent opportunity.
The successful candidate will:
* Undertake a variety of duties relating to the maintenance of the buildings and grounds
* Be responsible for, and promote, the health and safety of all staff, pupils and visitors
* Maintain the security of the premises.
* Have a flexible approach and the ability to use their initiative
* Possess excellent communication skills
* Have a strong work ethic
* Ideally, hold a valid DBS Certificate
