Site Supervisor – Internal Fit-Out Project
Location: Derby
Job Type: Contract
Start Date: Immediate / To Be Confirmed
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Supervisor to oversee an internal fit-out project in Derby.
This role is ideal for a proactive and professional supervisor with a strong background in commercial fit-out works, capable of managing multiple subcontractors while maintaining excellent communication with the client. As the building will remain partially occupied throughout the project, strong people and stakeholder management skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-day supervision of internal fit-out works.
Managing and coordinating multiple subcontractors on site.
Ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, and to the required quality standards.
Acting as the main point of contact for the client and building occupants.
Maintaining site health and safety standards and documentation.
Identifying and resolving site issues to keep the project running smoothly.
Liaising with project management and reporting on progress.Requirements:
Valid SSSTS certificate (minimum requirement).
3-Day First Aid at Work qualification.
Asbestos Awareness certification.
Proven experience supervising or managing internal fit-out projects.
Experience overseeing multiple subcontractors across various trades.
Strong client-facing and communication skills.
Working knowledge of:
Plumbing
Electrical installations
Suspended ceilings
Internal partition walls
Flooring systems
Ability to problem-solve and make informed decisions on site.Working Hours:
Preferred working pattern of 12-hour shifts Monday to Thursday, with a shorter working day on Friday.
