The Primary School is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Supervisor to join their team starting in June 2024.
Position: Site Supervisor
Location: Primary School, Doncaster, UK
Start Date: June 2024
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the school premises, ensuring a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment.
Conduct routine inspections of the school buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify and address any maintenance or safety issues promptly.
Coordinate and oversee maintenance tasks such as repairs, refurbishments, and installations, liaising with external contractors when necessary.
Manage the school's security systems and protocols, including CCTV monitoring and access control.
Maintain inventory records for supplies, equipment, and materials, and oversee their procurement as needed.
Respond promptly to any emergencies or incidents on site, implementing appropriate procedures to ensure the safety of students, staff, and visitors.Requirements:
Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within an educational setting.
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations, with the ability to implement and enforce compliance.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with staff, students, parents, and external contractors.
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Basic IT skills for managing electronic systems and records.
