Site Supervisor

Description:

Blue Water Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Site Supervisor to work on a new commercial construction project in Cardiff.

This position will be on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate will be working on the Structures & Landscape packages so experience within these sectors is required.

Key Responsibilities:

* Follow instruction from the Works Manager and report to him.

* Prepare and provide work permits for daily tasks that may require it.

* Provide feedback from workforce and supply chain to the project's leadership.

* Manage the use of appropriate plant, tools and equipment, ensuring that it is fit for purpose and inspected, maintained and quarantined as appropriate.

* Coordinate material and equipment deliveries and waste management.

* Undertake health, safety, quality, and environmental compliance checks.

Qualifications:

* CSCS card – Supervisor (Gold) or Manager (Black) would be ideal.

* CISRS Basic Scaffold Inspection card – beneficial.

* SMSTS

* Excellent verbal, oral, and written communication skill

* Comfortable interacting with all levels of management in multiple areas.

* Proficient with MS Office, in particular Excel.
