Purpose of the Role As Site Engineer you be working on a construction site in the centre of Swindon with a team who are committed to service delivery and quality. The role of Site Engineer controls and directs the project in compliance with the financial budget and all the rules relating to human and environmental safety. This role will be a 9 month Fixed Term Contract.
Main Responsibilities As Site Engineer you will be checking plans, drawings, and quantities for accuracy of calculations ensuring that all materials used, and work performed are as per specifications. You will be making cost-effective solutions and proposals for the project and carry out any setting, levelling out and surveying required on site.
The Ideal Candidate The perfect candidate for our Site Engineer role will hold the relevant Construction qualifications and have experience working on Civil Engineering / Major Highways schemes. You will be proficient with setting techniques and equipment, with previous experience of NEC contracting standards and have a working knowledge of health and safety.
