What we do. 

Due to the success of our bread sites, we are expanding our engineering team and have a fantastic new opportunity for a Site Services Engineer to join our busy food manufacturing facilities in Cheshire. Our 2 bread sites based in Crewe and Nantwich make specialty hand-crafted flatbreads, baguettes, doughballs and ciabattas for customers including Tesco, Asda, Morrisons and Sainsburys.

About the role.  

To ensure all site services and building requirements are maintained to an acceptable/regulatory standard and to ensure that all customer audit non-conformances are completed within the given timescales.

Accountabilities: 

To ensure all site services e.g. water, refrigeration, air compressors, drainage, electrical etc are functioning within legal, customer, environmental and business requirements.
Ensure all compliance records are managed and maintained to include, pressure, electricity at work, LOLER, PSSR, F-Gas, trade effluent and legionella.
Maintain all service contract records and schedules.
All structural areas of the building are to be monitored and maintained to an acceptable standard.
All required works are documented and completed on the business CMMS system.
Carry out all required works allocated through the CMMS system including all customer non-conformances, PPM’S, structural works, auxiliary works.
All site lighting systems to be maintained and emergency lighting to be inspected and tested in accordance with regulations and any defects being populated on the CMMS system and corrective actions taken within a reasonable time.
All Site air handling systems to be inspected as per the maintenance schedules and maintained to an agreed acceptable standard.
All water L8, legionella prevention actions; including temperature checks, and flushing to be completed in timely manner,
Operation and testing of the DAF Plant.
Manage / Coordinate with all external contractors and service providers surrounding facilities service contracts.  

About you.  

Completion of a recognised Mechanical or Electrical apprenticeship.
Good teamwork and communication skills. 
Planning works and writing reports; completion of inspection and testing certification.
Comply with safety regulations and procedures.
Restore assets after works and spare parts management.
Safety, Health and Environmental awareness.
Reading and adhering to site SOPs.
Mechanical installation and fault finding.
