Position: Site Services Engineer/Commissioning Engineer
Department: Site Services
Reports to: Site Services Manager
What You'll Do:
Commission Lighting Control Systems: Travel across the UK to set up and fine-tune our advanced lighting control systems.
Customer Interaction: Guide and assist customers through the installation, connection, and troubleshooting Lighting control systems.
Coordinate Site Visits: Organize and manage site visits with contractors and end users to ensure timely and efficient commissioning and rectification work.
Project Documentation: Maintain detailed records for all projects, generate commissioning certificates upon completion, and handle related invoicing.
Product Feedback: Report and advise on product defects and performance issues, contributing to continuous improvement.
Team Support: Assist with tasks assigned by the Site Services Manager or Senior Commissioning Engineer.
Workload Management: Plan and manage daily onsite workload effectively.
What We're Looking For:
Technical Know-How: A solid understanding of technical concepts related to lighting systems.
Hands-On Experience: Proven experience in installing, commissioning, and maintaining lighting and emergency lighting installations.
Problem Solver: A logical thinker who can plan efficiently and stay calm under pressure.
Excellent Communicator: Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills.
Tech Savvy: Proficient with Microsoft Office and comfortable using bespoke stock checking and technical programs.
Flexible: Willingness to adapt working hours to meet the demands of the job.
