Astute's Power team is partnering with a Principal Contractor in the Energy from Waste sector to recruit a Site Scheduler on a 12-month contract for its Kent site.
The Site Scheduler role comes with a competitive day rate.
Key skills
Be aware of all Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) requirements relevant to their role, and implements and complies with them
Generates accurate Site System Time Schedules (S-STS) for the execution phase on site, based on an overall project time schedule
Builds a Site System Time Schedule as an integrated construction project
Controls schedule, based on contract scope requirements. This should Thr The establish optimal work sequences, in co-operation with all those involved in the scope
Integrates all activities for the M&E construction and commissioning functions
Manages schedules between internal partners, customers if applicable, consortium and external partners
Supports the Construction Manager by collection of on-site progress reports
Recommends improvements where the site incurs expected delays
Follows the monthly update of S-STS through construction execution, expedite Site issues in conjunction with supervisors and/or functional groups as required
Updates, prepares and delivers S-STS weekly/monthly schedule progress reports as required by the project
Advises Site Manager / Site Coordinator and other functional Site Team members of status and recommended strategies to respond to identified risks and opportunities
