3-month contract initially

Rate: £25.00p/h Limited or Umbrella (Outside IR35)

Our Client

I am working with a key client who are a heavy plant engineering and construction company, based out of Yorkshire. We are recruiting for Mechanical Fitters on a key customer site for a minimum of a three-month contract, to assist on the upgrade of key capital projects.

Duties & Responsibilities:

v  Working on and installing an array of heavy equipment such as gearboxes, bearings, conveyors, drives and motors etc, and including new walkways, gantries and hand railing etc

v  Liaise with other teams and key stakeholders

v  Strong bespoke technical understanding to ensure mechanical specifications are met

v  Report any snagging issues or problems to Site Supervisor

v  Ability to work professionally on site at clients’ premises, being a key representation

The successful candidate:

v  Strong communication skills, with a keen eye for Health, Safety and Quality

v  Experience in heavy industry, working with chain blocks/rigging etc

v  Site safety passport would be beneficial (CSCS / CCNSG)

v  Ability to travel or be commutable UK wide would be beneficial

v  Outside IR35 contract
