Location: Thurrock, Essex
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience
Contract: Full Time

A thriving and welcoming secondary school in Thurrock is seeking a reliable, proactive, and hands-on Site Manager & Minibus Driver to join their dedicated team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced site professional who takes pride in maintaining a safe, secure, and well-presented learning environment while also supporting the school's transport needs.

Key Responsibilities
· Oversee the day-to-day management, maintenance, and security of the school site.
· Carry out routine repairs, maintenance, and health & safety checks.
· Manage contractors and oversee site-related projects where required.
· Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and school policies.
· Open and close the school premises as required.
· Monitor and maintain school facilities, grounds, and equipment.
· Drive the school minibus for educational visits, sporting fixtures, and other school activities.
· Carry out vehicle checks and ensure the minibus is maintained to a safe and roadworthy standard.
· Support the wider school team with general operational requirements.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
· Previous experience in a Site Manager, Caretaker, Facilities, or Estates role.
· A practical approach with strong maintenance and DIY skills.
· Knowledge of health and safety procedures and site compliance requirements.
· Good communication and organisational skills.
· The ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.
· A full, clean UK driving licence.
· Experience driving a minibus or willingness to complete relevant training.
· A flexible and positive attitude with a commitment to supporting the school community.
