Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Assistant Site Manager or Site Manager to oversee construction or development project. This role offers an exciting opportunity to coordinate daily site operations, ensure safety compliance, and deliver projects on time and within budget. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong management skills, supervising teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Your leadership will be instrumental in driving project success, fostering teamwork, and ensuring smooth communication among all Subcontractors and Site Management.

Certificates / Qualifications

* CSCS Card

* SMSTS / SSSTS

* First Aid

* NVQ in Construction Management

Duties

* Manage daily site activities, ensuring work progresses according to project plans and schedules.

* Supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain productivity and quality standards.

* Develop and update project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar scheduling software to track progress and identify potential delays.

* Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations to create a secure work environment for all personnel on site.

* Coordinate with project engineers, architects, clients, and suppliers to facilitate seamless communication and problem-solving.

* Monitor project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure efficient use of materials and labor.

* Conduct regular site inspections, quality checks, and progress meetings to keep projects on track.

Skills

* Proven management experience in construction or development projects with a strong leadership background.

* Supervising experience with the ability to motivate teams and manage multiple stakeholders effectively.

* Proficiency in Primavera P6 or comparable project scheduling tools for planning and tracking project timelines.

* Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail in quality control and safety compliance.

* Strong communication skills to liaise confidently with clients, contractors, and team members.

* Ability to problem-solve quickly and adapt to changing project demands under tight deadlines.
