Location: Eye, Suffolk
Rate: £350-£400 per day DOE (Outside IR35)
Contract Length: 4 Months (Potential Extension)
Working Pattern: Monday-Friday, Site Based
Site Manager - FMCG Extension Project
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a major FMCG extension project based in Suffolk on a 4-month contract basis.
This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in the successful delivery of a high-profile construction project within a live operational environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site activities, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with programme requirements.
Responsibilities
Oversee all day-to-day site operations and construction activities.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site personnel.
Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards.
Monitor project progress and ensure key milestones are achieved.
Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and safety briefings.
Liaise with the client, project team, and stakeholders.
Ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations within the live facility.
Maintain site documentation and reporting requirements.
Requirements
Proven experience working as a Site Manager on construction projects.
Previous experience delivering projects within live environments is essential.
Background in one or more of the following sectors:
FMCG
Food & Beverage Manufacturing
Cleanrooms
Pharmaceutical
Laboratory Facilities
Healthcare/Hospital Projects
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid qualifications.
Strong leadership and subcontractor management experience.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work proactively and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
