Freelance Site Manager – Social Housing (Kitchen & Bathroom Programme)
Location: Wandsworth, London
Contract: Freelance (Long-Term)
Start: Immediate
We are seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to join our team on a long-term social housing refurbishment project in Wandsworth, working for a well-established main contractor.
Reporting directly to the Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for managing a programme of occupied kitchen and bathroom replacement works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, to budget, and to a high standard of quality.
Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day site operations on occupied residential properties.
*
Manage subcontractors and direct labour to ensure programme targets are achieved.
*
Maintain high standards of health and safety and ensure site compliance at all times.
*
Liaise with residents, client representatives, and the Contracts Manager to ensure excellent customer service.
*
Monitor quality, progress, and productivity across multiple workstreams.
*
Ensure all site documentation, inspections, and reports are completed accurately.
Requirements:
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager delivering social housing refurbishment projects.
*
Experience managing occupied kitchen and bathroom replacement programmes is preferred
*
Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and quality standards.
*
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
*
Ability to manage multiple trades and maintain programme delivery in occupied homes.
*
Valid SMSTS, CSCS, and First Aid certificates.
