Site Manager
Location: North of England
Projects: Liverpool, Manchester, Warrington & Nationwide
Salary: £36,000 – £42,000 + up to 18% bonus
Type: Permanent
Start: ASAP
We are looking for an experienced Site Manager to oversee subcontractor-led projects across the North of England.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a background in utilities, drainage, civils or general construction who has a strong focus on health & safety, quality and project progress.
The Role
* Oversee 1–2 projects at any one time.
* Majority of work across Liverpool, Manchester and Warrington.
* Nationwide projects, although staying away is not the norm.
* Home most nights in the majority of cases.
* Projects typically run for 1–3 weeks.
* Project values around £100k.
* Oversee subcontractors rather than directly managing the full project.
* Monitor subcontractor performance and progress.
* Ensure works are delivered safely and to programme.
* Maintain a strong focus on health & safety.
* Carry out site visits and monitor standards.
* Occasional nationwide travel will be required.
Requirements
* Previous Site Management or Site Supervision experience.
* Experience within utilities, drainage, civils or construction.
* Strong understanding of health & safety.
* Experience overseeing subcontractors.
* Good understanding of site progress and programme management.
* Able to work independently across multiple projects.
* Full UK driving licence.
* Willingness to travel when required.
