Site Manager – High-End Residential Development

Location: Cambridge, Cambridgeshire
Salary: Up to £80,000 + Package

The Opportunity

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Site Manager to join a highly reputable residential developer based in Hertfordshire, working on a prestigious new-build development in Cambridge.

The development comprises 210 bespoke houses and low-rise apartments, offering the successful candidate the opportunity to work on a high-quality, design-led scheme.

You will take responsibility for managing the internal fit-out from 1st Fix through to completion, ensuring works are delivered to a consistently high standard, on programme and in line with the developer's exacting quality requirements.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will be responsible for:

* Managing internal fit-out works from 1st Fix through to completion.

* Coordinating and supervising subcontractors and trades on site.

* Managing daily site activities to ensure programme and quality targets are achieved.

* Ensuring works are completed to the required specification and quality standards.

* Coordinating multiple trades and managing sequencing of works.

* Monitoring progress and identifying potential delays or issues at an early stage.

* Maintaining high standards of health, safety and site compliance.

* Working closely with the Project Manager and wider site team.

* Carrying out regular inspections and quality checks.

* Ensuring plots are handed over to the required standard and programme.

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential housebuilding.

* Strong experience managing internal fit-out and finishing stages.

* A strong eye for detail and a genuine focus on quality.

* Experience coordinating multiple trades and subcontractors.

* Excellent organisational and communication skills.

* A strong understanding of health and safety requirements.

* SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS qualifications.

* A proactive approach and the ability to work independently.
