Site Manager – Groundworks
Location: Taunton
Rate: £270–£330 per day (DOE) – Negotiable
Start: Immediate
Duration: 12 Months Minimum / Ongoing
IR35: Outside IR35
We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join a very large and successful groundworks contractor on an industrial groundworks package in the Taunton area.
The project offers a minimum of 12 months' work, with further packages already available to move onto for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
*
Manage the day-to-day groundworks activities on site.
*
Coordinate site teams, labour, subcontractors, plant and materials.
*
Ensure works are delivered safely, to programme and to the required standard.
*
Monitor progress, quality and Health & Safety.
*
Liaise with the Project Manager, engineers and wider site team.
*
Work alongside another Site Manager to manage the package effectively.
Requirements
*
Previous Site Manager experience within groundworks.
*
Strong groundworks background, ideally on industrial projects.
*
SMSTS – Essential.
*
CSCS – Essential.
*
First Aid at Work – Desirable.
*
Other relevant tickets and qualifications are useful.
