SITE MANAGER – ROOFING PROJECT | WATFORD
Synergy Personnel Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of one of our clients for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a 20-week re-roofing project in Watford.
We’re looking for a Site Manager with roofing experience who is confident managing the site from a Health & Safety, paperwork and day-to-day coordination perspective.
The Project

Location: Watford

Duration: Approx. 20 weeks

Start Date: 19th October
*
Hours: 8:00am – 4:30pm
*
Project: Re-roofing of an office building
*
Crane operations will be involved in removing steels/materials from the existing roof.
*
The roofing team is experienced and will be carrying out the works, with the Site Manager primarily overseeing site management, H&S, paperwork and coordination.
The Role
You will be responsible for:
*
Day-to-day site management and coordination
*
Managing Health & Safety on site
*
Completing daily site diaries and paperwork
*
Managing permits, including Hot Works Permits
*
Ensuring RAMS and site procedures are followed
*
Coordinating site activities and liaising with contractors
*
Supporting the safe management of crane operations and roofing works
*
Maintaining accurate site records
*
General site administration and project documentation
Requirements
Essential:
*
SMSTS
*
CSCS
*
First Aid
*
Previous Site Management experience
*
Roofing/re-roofing experience
*
Strong understanding of Health & Safety
*
Good paperwork and administrative skills
*
Tech savvy and confident using computers/tablets and digital systems
This role would suit a practical and organised Site Manager who is comfortable taking responsibility for the H&S and documentation side of a roofing project, while working alongside an experienced roofing team.
