Site Manager
Oxford | Permanent | Office & Site-Based | ASAP Start
We are currently recruiting for a Site Manager to join a growing main contractor delivering high-quality commercial fit-out projects across Oxford and the surrounding area.
This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Site Manager or an experienced Assistant Site Manager ready to step up into a Site Manager position. You'll be based from the company's Oxford office while managing projects throughout the local area.
The Role
You will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of fit-out projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires someone who is confident dealing directly with clients and maintaining strong relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing fit-out projects from site set-up through to completion
* Coordinating subcontractors and site labour
* Ensuring health & safety standards are maintained at all times
* Managing project programmes and site progress
* Conducting site meetings and liaising directly with clients
* Ensuring quality standards are achieved
* Reporting project progress to senior management
* Working closely with the commercial and project delivery teams
Requirements
* Experience working for a main contractor
* Background in commercial fit-out projects
* Previous experience as a Site Manager or an Assistant Site Manager looking to progress
* Strong client-facing and communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and site activities
* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications preferred
* Full UK driving licence
