SITE MANAGER – ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE ESSENTIAL

Location: Biggleswade
Contract: 4 weeks
Rate: £300–£325 per day
Sector: Commercial Office Fit-Out
Start: Mid September

We are currently looking for an experienced Site Manager with active SC Clearance to join a commercial office fit-out project in Biggleswade on a 4-week contract.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can take control of site operations and work effectively with subcontractors, trades and the wider project team.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day running of the site and coordinate all site activities.
Manage and coordinate subcontractors and site labour.
Ensure works are delivered in line with the programme and project requirements.
Monitor workmanship, quality and progress across the project.
Maintain high standards of health & safety and ensure site rules and RAMS are followed.
Attend site meetings and provide regular updates on progress, issues and requirements.
Liaise with the Project Manager and wider delivery team to ensure smooth project delivery.
Identify and resolve site issues quickly and effectively.
Maintain site records, inspections and relevant documentation.Key Requirements

ACTIVE SC CLEARANCE – ESSENTIAL
Proven experience working as a Site Manager.
Strong background in commercial office fit-out / refurbishment.
Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades.
Good understanding of construction health & safety and site compliance.
SMSTS and First Aid.
Strong communication, organisational and leadership skills.
Able to commit to the full 4-week contract.This is a great opportunity for an experienced SC-cleared Site Manager with commercial fit-out experience who is available for a short-term contract and can hit the ground running
