Site Manager – BESS Project
Location: Yorkshire
Start Date: Immediate
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager for a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project based in Yorkshire, with an immediate start available.
This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Manager with a background in electrical installations or civils management who is looking to work within the growing energy and renewables sector.
Candidates with previous BESS experience would be advantageous, although we are also keen to hear from individuals with experience across substations, electrical infrastructure, power distribution or civil engineering projects within the energy sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site activities, coordinating subcontractors and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day site operations on a BESS project.

Coordinate electrical installation teams, civils subcontractors and site personnel.
*
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with health and safety requirements.
*
Monitor project progress and ensure activities remain on programme.
*
Review RAMS, permits and relevant site documentation.
*
Liaise with project management, engineering teams and subcontractors.
*
Maintain quality standards and ensure works comply with project specifications.
*
Identify and resolve site issues to maintain progress.
Requirements:
*
Previous experience as a Site Manager within the energy, power or infrastructure sectors.
*
Electrical installation background preferred, but candidates with strong civils management experience will also be considered.
*
Experience on BESS, substation, renewable energy or similar projects advantageous.
*
Strong understanding of site health and safety procedures.
*
Experience managing subcontractors and coordinating multiple work packages.
*
Available to start immediately or at short notice.
