Salary up to £50,000 Basic + Package
The Client
Our client is an established regional construction contractor who had a strong track record of delivering quality construction projects across the North of England. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Site Manager to join their North West team.
Projects are delivered across a range of sectors which include education, healthcare, commercial, leisure, heritage and industrial.
The Role
Key responsibilities will include –
* Taking overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of the construction site.
* Leading and coordinating site teams, subcontractors and the wider supply chain.
* Ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with the construction programme.
* Maintaining high standards of health, safety, quality and environmental performance.
* Managing site activities in accordance with drawings, specifications, programmes and contractual requirements.
* Monitoring progress against programme and identifying and resolving issues at an early stage.
* Coordinating labour, materials, plant and subcontractor requirements.
* Working closely with the Project Manager, Quantity Surveyor, design team, client and other project stakeholders.
* Maintaining accurate site records, reports and relevant project documentation.
* Ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the project.
* Building positive and collaborative relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the supply chain.
* Supporting the successful handover and completion of projects.
Key Requirements
* Proven experience working within a Site Management role
* Experience delivering construction projects from inception through to completion
* Excellent knowledge of health and safety requirements and best practice.
* Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
