Chartered construction company based in South Devon with a rich heritage dating back over 90 years that specialises in high-end residential projects across the South West, delivering exceptional quality and sustainable construction. They are now looking for an experienced and capable Manager to join their dedicated team to deliver inspiring projects in stunning locations with absolute client satisfaction.

The role:

The company are seeking a skilled Site Manager to support with the delivery of high-quality, bespoke housebuilding projects and ensure outstanding client experiences. This unique role combines on-site project management with a strong focus on customer care, ensuring projects are completed to the highest standards while maintaining excellent client relationships. You will be the face of the company, coordinating both site operations and client expectations with professionalism and care.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensuring clients receive the highest level of customer care through handling queries and ensuring finishings are to the highest standard.

Running projects in adherence to plans, timelines, and budgets.

Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site teams to maintain quality and safety standards.

Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing queries or concerns promptly.

Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, maintaining a safe and efficient site.

Monitor project progress, quality, and costs, reporting to senior management as needed.

Uphold the company's commitment to sustainable practices and exceptional client service.

What we’re Looking For:

Proven experience in construction site management, ideally with one-off, high value homes.

Strong customer-facing skills with a track record of building and maintaining positive client relationships.

Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills to manage both site operations and client interactions.

Knowledge of construction processes, materials, and health and safety regulations.

Relevant qualifications (e.g., SMSTS, CSCS, 1st Aid).

A proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to project sites across the South West.
