A Freelance Site Manager is required to manage a 19-week demolition programme in Manchester, ahead of a future student accommodation scheme.
This is a straightforward freelance role for a Freelance Site Manager who has genuine experience managing demolition works on site. The client is not looking for someone who has simply been present on a project where demolition was taking place — they need a Freelance Site Manager who has actively managed that package.
Responsibilities
As Freelance Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site activity, coordinating subcontractors, maintaining health and safety standards, monitoring progress against programme and ensuring the demolition works are delivered in a controlled and organised manner.
You will need to communicate clearly with the wider project team and make sure site operations run safely, efficiently and in line with expectations.
