Location: Nottingham
Start Date: Friday, 31st July or Monday, 3rd August 2026
Duration: 6 Weeks
Pay Type: (Umbrella or PAYE only - No CIS)
About the Role
We are recruiting an experienced Site Manager to oversee a 6-week fast-track refurbishment and fit-out package at a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Nottingham.
As the No. 1 Site Manager on-site, you will be responsible for driving daily production, managing sub-contractors, enforcing rigorous health and safety standards, and ensuring work is delivered to the highest quality while maintaining compliance with educational facility standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day site operations, short-term programming, and trade coordination.
Conduct site inductions, issue daily permits to work, and enforce site RAMS.
Lead daily activity briefings (DABs) and liaise with school stakeholders and project managers.
Maintain comprehensive site paperwork, progress reports, and quality inspection records.
Essential Criteria
Certifications: Valid SMSTS, 3-Day First Aid at Work, and a CSCS Black (Manager) or White (Professional) card minimum.
Experience: Proven track record as a Site Manager on education, SEN, or health/care facilities (strongly preferred).
Payment Terms: Must be willing to operate via Umbrella or PAYE (No CIS available due to tax guidelines on this contract).
Vetting: Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo immediate clearance) is preferred due to the environment.
