Site Manager – Fit-Out Project (Paddle Courts) – Glasgow
Location: Gallowgate, Glasgow
Start Date: Monday 29th June
Duration: 8 Weeks
Contract Type: Temporary / Freelance
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the fit-out of a new paddle court facility in Gallowgate, Glasgow.
The successful candidate will initially manage and coordinate the final stages of the strip-out phase, ensuring the existing contractor completes works safely and to programme. As the project progresses, you will take responsibility for managing the remedial floor works, decoration, internal fit-out package, and the installation of the new paddle courts through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee the completion of ongoing strip-out works.
* Coordinate and manage subcontractors on site.
* Monitor health & safety compliance and maintain site standards.
* Manage remedial floor works and decoration packages.
* Oversee all internal fit-out activities.
* Coordinate the installation and fit-out of the new paddle courts.
* Ensure works are delivered on programme, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
* Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings.
* Maintain site records and communicate progress to the project team.
Requirements
* Proven experience managing fit-out and refurbishment projects.
* Strong subcontractor management and coordination skills.
* Good understanding of health & safety regulations and site procedures.
* Ability to drive programme and manage multiple work packages simultaneously.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
* Valid SMSTS, CSCS Card, and First Aid certification preferred
