Description:
Local Developer seeking an experienced Site Manager to manage and successfully deliver an 89-unit traditional build project in the Southwest. As no2 across the project, you will be working under the Project Manager to successfully deliver an £18M housing development. A carpentry or brickie background is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Arrange and manage on-site workforce and subcontractors
* Manage the delivery of 89 traditional build units
* Resolve any issues or conflict that arise on site through the duration of the project
* Coordinate with Project Manager and subcontractors on material, plant, and labour
* Liaise with Quantity Surveyors and Estimators on cost matters
* Support Project Managers with on-time, within budget, and high standard delivery of project
* Maintain compliance regarding health and safety records, and attend site safety meetings
Qualifications & Experience
* Qualification in a trade, construction or site management
* SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS Card required
* Previous Site Management experience on residential/housing projects
* Knowledge and experience in managing traditional build projects
* Proven track record of successful delivery of residential projects
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Good knowledge of health & safety policies and procedures
