Site Manager (No.1) – Freelance to Permanent
Location: Oxford
Project: School Extension
Duration: 60 Weeks (Freelance to Permanent Opportunity)

Rate: Competitive Daily Rate (DOE)
Falcon Green are currently recruiting for an experienced No.1 Site Manager to lead the delivery of a £multi-million school extension project in Oxford on behalf of a well-established main contractor.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Site Manager looking for long-term security, with the role initially offered on a freelance basis before transitioning into a permanent position for the right individual.
As the No.1 on site, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the project, ensuring it is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the site as the No.1 Site Manager.
* Manage subcontractors, site labour and the wider project team.
* Drive the construction programme to ensure project milestones are achieved.
* Maintain the highest standards of health & safety across site.
* Ensure all works are completed to the required quality standards.
* Chair site meetings and liaise with the client, consultants and senior management.
* Manage site logistics, sequencing of works and project documentation.
* Produce short-term programmes and monitor progress against key deadlines.
Requirements:
* Proven experience as a No.1 Site Manager with a main contractor.
* Previous experience delivering education, commercial or public sector projects.
* SMSTS, CSCS Black or White Card and First Aid at Work are essential.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* Ability to manage projects independently from start through to completion.
