Position: Civil Engineering Site Manager
Location: Central Belt of Scotland
Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Position Summary and Purpose: We are seeking a dedicated Civil Engineering Site Manager to ensure our client's projects are delivered safely, within budget, and to agreed standards. This role involves managing plant, labour, and materials on site, as well as building positive relationships with client construction teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement strategies required by the Contracts Manager.
Arrange adequate resources for project delivery, safety, and standards of work.
Monitor safety and liaise with Contracts Managers, the Health and Safety team, and site staff.
Oversee site management, ensuring adherence to agreed programs, quality, and building regulations.
Manage effective communication between site and office.
Develop, mentor, and train team members alongside the HR Officer.
Implement commercial strategies and liaise with the Commercial team.
Ensure contractual obligations are recognized and adhered to.Key Success Factors/Preferred Experience:
Minimum 3 years' experience managing large-scale civil engineering projects.
Building-related competency/Project Management Certificate is desirable.
SMSTS, First Aid at Work, Temporary Works Coordinator/Supervisor certifications.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Ability to write short- and long-term programs and produce RAMS.
Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
Strong organizational skills and scheduling material deliveries.
Proficiency with tablets/computers and Microsoft products.
Reliable and diplomatic.
