Site Manager – Groundworks | Residential Housing
We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established groundworks contractor for an experienced Site Manager to join their growing team in the North West area.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a business that has a strong pipeline of residential housing developments across the North West, delivering roads, sewers, drainage, foundations and infrastructure packages for some of the UK's leading housebuilders.
The Role
You'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of groundworks operations on a busy residential housing development, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest standard.
Responsibilities
* Managing all site activities from start through to completion.
* Overseeing groundworks packages including roads, sewers, drainage, foundations and external works.
* Coordinating site teams, subcontractors, plant and materials.
* Ensuring Health & Safety standards are maintained at all times.
* Monitoring programme and reporting progress to senior management.
* Liaising with clients, site engineers and the commercial team.
* Maintaining quality standards and site documentation.
Expectations:
* Previous experience as a Site Manager within groundworks or civil engineering.
* Strong background delivering infrastructure packages on residential housing developments.
* Good knowledge of roads, drainage, foundations and external works.
* SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
