Site Manager

Description:

ITS Construction are recruiting on behalf of a well-established groundworks contractor for an experienced Site Manager to oversee residential groundworks projects in Gloucester.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected contractor with a strong pipeline of residential developments. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest standards.

Responsibilities:

* Managing daily site operations on residential groundworks projects.

* Coordinating subcontractors, operatives and plant on site.

* Ensuring all work is carried out safely and in accordance with company procedures.

* Monitoring programme and productivity to ensure project deadlines are met.

* Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks and regular safety inspections.

* Liaising with clients, engineers, suppliers and the wider project team.

* Maintaining accurate site records and reporting progress.

* Managing quality control and ensuring work meets specification.

* Ordering materials and coordinating site logistics.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Site Manager within residential groundworks.

* Strong knowledge of drainage, roads & sewers, foundations and plot works.

* Valid SMSTS.

* CSCS Managers Card.

* First Aid at Work.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.

* Full UK Driving Licence.
