Site Manager

Description:

We are currently seeking an experienced Freelance Site Manager to lead the construction of a cutting-edge industrial steel frame shed. This is a long-term freelance position (50 weeks) with exciting opportunities for growth and collaboration.

Responsibilities:

Project Leadership: Take charge of the entire construction process, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
Steel Frame Expertise: Oversee the installation of the steel frame structure, including foundation work, steel erection, and cladding.
Health and Safety: Maintain strict compliance with health and safety regulations on-site.
Quality Assurance: Monitor workmanship to ensure top-notch quality throughout the project.
Supply Chain Coordination: Implement effective supply chain strategies and manage deliveries.
Team Management: Lead and motivate the site team, including subcontractors and skilled tradespeople.
Reporting: Provide regular progress updates to project stakeholders.

Requirements:

Previous Experience: A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Site Manager, specifically with industrial steel frame projects.
Certifications: Valid SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) and CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) certifications are essential.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with steel frame construction techniques and best practices.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Problem-Solving: Ability to address challenges proactively and find practical solutions.
Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management capabilities.
