Description:
Contract Scotland is partnering with a highly reputable, multi-disciplined Civil Engineering contractor specialising in industrial services, civil infrastructure, and infrastructure projects. Currently, we are in search of a skilled Freelance Site Manager to contribute to a project located in Edinburgh.
Your responsibilities will include:
Cultivating positive relationships both on-site and off-site.
Efficiently managing the procurement of equipment and materials.
Supervising and coordinating staff and subcontractors.
Overseeing permits and safety inspections.
Ensuring strict adherence to health, safety and quality standards.
To qualify for this exciting opportunity, you should possess:
A minimum of an HNC level qualification in civil engineering.
Previous experience in site management within the civil engineering sector.
Mandatory certifications in SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme), First Aid, and Temporary Works Supervisor, all of which are crucial for this role.
Here's what awaits you:
An immediate start date for a duration of 5-6 months.
Monday to Friday work hours.
£300 per day (PAYE only).
