Job Title: Site Manager (Refurbishment Project)
Location: Kendal
Duration: 12 months
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Manager to oversee a 12-month refurbishment project in Kendal. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the project, ensuring it is completed safely, on time, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate all onsite activities, including subcontractors and suppliers.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control.
Monitor progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure project deadlines are met.
Liaise with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to ensure project requirements are understood and met.
Manage site documentation, including risk assessments, method statements, and site records.
Provide leadership and support to site staff, ensuring they have the necessary resources and guidance to perform their duties effectively. Requirements:
Fully DBS checked (essential).
SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification.
IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health) certification.
CSCS gold card.
Pasma (Prefabricated Access Suppliers' and Manufacturers' Association) certification.
First Aid certification.
UKATA Asbestos awareness training.
Manual handling certification.
COSHH (Control of Substances Hazardous to Health) awareness.
Working at Height certification.
Time served City and Guilds level 1, 2, 3 Joiner qualification.
