Description:
CCS is seeking an experienced School Site Manager / School Caretaker to join an outstanding primary school.
We are looking for a reliable, practical and proactive School Site Manager to oversee the day-to-day maintenance, safety, security and facilities of the school.
An experienced School Caretaker with strong maintenance and health & safety experience would also be ideally suited to this position.
Hours
Monday to Friday – Split Shift
7:00am–10:30am and 2:00pm–5:30pm
Key Responsibilities

Open and secure the school site each day.
*
Carry out regular health & safety and site checks.
*
Undertake general maintenance and minor repairs.
*
Maintain buildings, classrooms, playgrounds, grounds and facilities.
*
Identify and report hazards, defects and maintenance issues.
*
Support fire safety and emergency procedures.
*
Liaise with and oversee contractors.
*
Maintain appropriate maintenance and safety records.
*
Manage basic facilities, equipment, supplies and waste.
*
Prepare rooms and areas for school events.
*
Ensure the school remains safe, secure, clean and well presented.
About You
The ideal candidate will be an experienced School Site Manager, School Caretaker, Facilities Manager, Premises Manager or maintenance professional who is practical, organised, reliable and able to work independently.
A highly experienced School Caretaker looking to progress into a School Site Manager role is encouraged to apply.
