Description:
We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a fast track refurbishment project in Mayfair. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established contractor delivering exceptional standards on a prime residential/commercial refurbishment within one of London's most exclusive locations.
The Role
As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of the site, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing and coordinating all site activities from start to completion.
* Supervising subcontractors, labour and suppliers.
* Ensuring strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
* Maintaining quality control throughout all stages of the project.
* Liaising with clients, consultants and project stakeholders.
* Managing site logistics within a constrained central London environment.
* Monitoring programme performance and reporting progress to senior management.
* Conducting site meetings and maintaining project documentation.
* Driving a high-end finish in line with client expectations.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
* Proven experience managing refurbishment projects as a Site Manager.
* Experience delivering high-specification residential, commercial or heritage refurbishments.
* Strong subcontractor management and coordination skills.
* Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
* Ability to work effectively within occupied or live environments.
* Sound understanding of construction sequencing, quality management and site logistics.
Essential Qualifications
* SMSTS
* CSCS Black or Gold Card
* First Aid at Work
* Full UK Driving Licence
Desirable
* Experience working on refurbishment projects.
* Knowledge of listed buildings and heritage refurbishments.
* Temporary Works awareness.
* Fire Safety and Building Regulations understanding.
