Site Manager - Commercial New Build Towcester, Northamptonshire
Start: September 2026 Freelance / Contract Opportunity
We are currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to join a leading contractor on a steel frame and glazing development near Towcester, Northamptonshire.
This is a substantial commercial construction project featuring a multi-span steel frame structure and an extensive package of large-scale glazing, requiring a Site Manager with proven experience delivering similar projects from start through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Day-to-day management of site operations
Coordination and supervision of subcontractors
Ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards
Managing health & safety compliance across the project
Liaising with project teams, suppliers and stakeholders
Monitoring progress and resolving site issues as they ariseRequirements:

Proven track record as a Site Manager on commercial construction projects
Experience working on steel frame buildings
Knowledge of glazing and envelope packages would be highly advantageous
SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates essential
Strong communication and organisational skills
Ability to lead site teams and maintain high standards throughout deliveryWhat's on Offer:
