Site Manager – Yorkshire & North East
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 + Package
I'm currently working with an established and growing regional building contractor to recruit an experienced Site Manager to oversee a varied portfolio of projects across Yorkshire and the surrounding regions.
The business has built a strong reputation for delivering quality construction projects across a broad range of sectors, including commercial, industrial, education, healthcare, residential and public-sector environments.
With projects ranging from £1m to £10m, this is an excellent opportunity for a versatile Site Manager who enjoys variety, takes pride in their work and is comfortable adapting to different project requirements.
The role will cover a wide geographical area, with projects spanning Nottingham, Leeds, Hull and Newcastle.
The Role

Managing projects from initial site set-up through to completion and handover.
*
Overseeing a varied portfolio of new-build and refurbishment projects.
*
Taking responsibility for programme delivery, quality, health & safety and subcontractor management.
*
Coordinating site teams, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.
*
Maintaining strong working relationships with clients, consultants and the wider project team.
*
Adapting your management approach to suit different sites, sectors and project requirements.
*
Taking a hands-on approach when required, working alongside the site team to keep projects moving.
The Ideal Candidate
*
Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry.
*
A broad background across multiple construction sectors.
*
Experience delivering both new-build and refurbishment projects.
*
Comfortable managing projects ranging from £1m to £10m.
*
Adaptable, practical and willing to get stuck in when the situation requires it.
*
Strong organisational, communication and leadership skills.
*
SMSTS, First Aid and CSCS qualifications.
Salary & Package
*
£55,000 – £65,000 depending on experience.
*
