Site Construction Manager
£45m Care Home | Henley-on-Thames | £65,000–£70,000 per annum + Package
A leading main contractor is seeking an experienced Site Construction Manager to join the team delivering a £45m care home in Henley-on-Thames. This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of a defined section of a major project and lead a small team on a high-quality, purpose-built scheme.
The role
Reporting to the senior site team, you'll take responsibility for running your own section of the project, managing a small team beneath you and driving the delivery of your area to programme, budget and specification. You'll be hands-on in coordinating the works, keeping the site safe and tidy, and maintaining the standards expected on a scheme of this profile.
Key responsibilities
* Managing the day-to-day delivery of your section of the project
* Leading and coordinating a small team reporting to you
* Driving the programme and hitting key dates within your area
* Coordinating subcontractors, materials and logistics on site
* Maintaining high standards of health, safety and quality at all times
* Reporting progress to the senior management team
What you'll need
* Proven experience as a Site Manager or Construction Manager on medium-to-large build projects
* Ideally experience on care home, healthcare, residential or similar new-build schemes
* The ability to manage and motivate a small team
* A strong focus on programme, quality and safety
* Valid CSCS, SMSTS and First Aid
