Site Manager

Description:

A leading contractor in the water industry, is currently seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a significant project in Nannerch, North Wales. This contract role focuses on civil engineering within the water sector, with a particular emphasis on wastewater treatment works.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and overseeing all on-site activities for wastewater treatment works projects
Ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
Coordinating and supervising the work of site staff and subcontractors
Maintaining high standards of health and safety compliance on site
Monitoring and reporting on project progress, including financial performance
Ensuring that quality standards are met and maintained
Resolving any issues or conflicts that arise on site
Building and maintaining effective working relationships with clients and stakeholders

Job Requirements:

Significant experience in civil engineering, preferably within the water sector
Proven track record in successfully delivering projects valued at £1m or more
Strong understanding of wastewater treatment works
Excellent leadership and managerial skills
Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively
Relevant qualifications in civil engineering or a related discipline
