Site Manager
Up to 55k + car allowance
North Wales
Key Responsibilities
Lead day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the required quality standards.
Manage and coordinate site teams, subcontractors and suppliers across all construction activities.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality requirements, including implementation of RAMS and permit systems.
Monitor progress against programme and proactively manage site issues, delays and risks.
Coordinate activities with project teams, designers and clients to ensure efficient project delivery.
Carry out site inspections, quality checks and support testing, commissioning and handover activities.
Maintain accurate site records and provide regular progress updates and reports.
Promote a positive safety culture and maintain high standards of housekeeping and site management
Essential Skills & Experience
Previous experience in a Site Manager role within civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure projects.
SMSTS qualification.
Appropriate CSCS card (Manager or Supervisor level).
First Aid qualification.
Experience managing site teams and subcontractors.
Good understanding of health and safety legislation, including CDM regulations.
Experience reviewing and implementing RAMS, permits and safe systems of work.
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications and construction programmes.
Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
Competent using Microsoft Office and digital reporting systems.
Desirable
Experience delivering projects within the water or wastewater sector.
Knowledge of civil, mechanical and electrical construction activities.
Experience working within live operational environments.
Understanding of NEC contracts and commercial awareness
