Site Manager

Description:

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Freelance Residential Site Manager to oversee a residential development in Coventry. This is an excellent opportunity to join an established contractor on a long-term project delivering high-quality homes.

The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage all on-site activities to ensure the project is delivered on time and within budget.

* Coordinate subcontractors and site labour effectively.

* Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.

* Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks and regular safety inspections.

* Monitor build quality and ensure works meet NHBC standards.

* Manage site documentation, RAMS and daily records.

* Liaise with clients, subcontractors and senior management teams.

* Drive programme performance and resolve site issues promptly.

* Maintain excellent standards of housekeeping and site presentation.

Requirements

* Proven experience as a Residential Site Manager on housing developments.

* Strong knowledge of NHBC standards and UK building regulations.

* Experience delivering projects for national or regional housebuilders is preferred.

* Valid SMSTS certificate.

* Valid CSCS card.

* First Aid at Work certificate.

* Excellent communication and leadership skills.

* Full UK driving licence.
